Castroviejo-Ryder Needle Holder is handcrafted from German stainless steel and tungsten carbide inserts that provides control, precision and a dependable non-slip crosshatched surface. For use with 5-0, 6-0, and 7-0 sutures, the 1.0 mm jaws are designed to tightly grip the needle and prevent rotation. The flat handles are gold-plated and offer a non-slip control. Tungsten carbide needle holders provide unparalleled control while suturing. The precision-milled, pyramid-shaped teeth ensure a dependable, non-slip surface. Some needle holder styles are also available with smooth tungsten carbide jaws, designed to hold the smallest sutures in microsurgical and plastic surgery procedures. Tungsten carbide jaws are inherently more durable than stainless steel and clinicians will experience an extended service-life. These needle holders feature gold-plated handles.
